Herman Van Swanevelt - 1895 Antique Engraving

This listing is for an antique engraving, circa 1895:

V. 17 Herman Van Swanevelt Image 1: The Town-gate. (B. 92, undescribed letters). Image 2: Egeria’s Grotto. (B. 91, first state). Edges are worn, discolored and curling and there are slight tears, as well.

The work was featured in a book called “Engravings and Woodcuts by Old Masters,” (Sec. XV-XIX). Reproduced in facsimile by the Imperial Press at <>Berlin. Part VI, Bernard Quaritch, London, 1895. The book was a collection of engravings and woodcuts by Old Masters.

Each print measures approximately 15 1/2-inches wide by 21 3/4-inches long, including the borders.
