From world reknown artist Maxwell Mays, comes this rare Artists Proof lithograph depicting the Newport Music Season (2001). This incredible piece has many colors and is rich and vibrant (possibly a serigraph).. This stunning work is numbered 49/50 AP. It is signed in pencil and dedicated to friends by the artist.
Image size is 19 x 23. It has been professionally framed with a brushed titanium color metal frame. The overall measurement is 25 1/4 by 29 3/4 inches.
The artist, Maxwell Mays was born in Rhode Island and a product of the Rhode Island School of Design. He began his painting career seriously while he was stationed in Brazil during World War II.
Mays tells stories in each one of his wonderful paintings that reflect his love of Rhode Island history. He has been painting things he remembers for a long time, and the essence, the spirit, the joy that has been wrapped in the tissue paper of memory breaks through. He believes in happiness!.......all along the way we have a choice....look for the bright side. His 'trick' is to take you on a memory trip.
Maxwell Mays is now Rhode Island's best known collectable artist.

Return Policy |
All of our items are guaranteed. If there is a clear and significant error in the listing, we will be happy to refund the entire cost of the item plus return shipping (equal to the shipping cost paid by the buyer).
If there is no error in the listing, we will provide a refund less shipping costs. If the item was sold with Free Shipping, we will deduct the actual postage cost from the refund. If you outbid someone else originally, we may wait to issue the refund until the item is resold (up to two weeks).
If you request a return, please notify me within three days of receiving the item. Of course, all items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

For Domestic shipments, I generally use USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. If you require detailed tracking, then the item MUST be sent either via UPS or Express Mail.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
Tracking is only available with USPS Express Mail, UPS, DHL or FedeX. Regular First Class International and Priority Mail do NOT offer tracking. If you choose Priority or First Class you are agreeing to a NON-TRACKABLE shipment method.
First Class International shipping takes 2-6 weeks; Priority International takes 1-3 weeks; Express International takes 1-2 weeks. Additionally, if items have to clear customs that can delay the shipment further.
Certain countries have had extended delays in customs, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Austria.
