Description

Antique Chinese necklace - the kind worn by Buddhist monks, especially for official portraits. It is made of almost 100 ebony wood beads (about 1/2 inch in diameter). Interspersed among these are four large green Peking Glass beads (about 1 inch diameter). The whole necklace is about 50 inches! (I showed it doubled over which is not the traditional way of wearing it, but certainly one could!).
