This auction is for a Chinese jade desk organizer, circa early 20th century. This large spinach green jade piece measures about 4 5/8 inches by 6 1/2 inches.
The piece has two semi-circular grooves that run the length, presumably for brushes, and t there are also two hexagonal indents which I would assume are for inkwells. And then there is a small egg shaped indent.
I have included a teak wood stand with the auction - because the piece really is beautiful and suitable for display.
