This auction is for two antique Chinese Hunan embroidered 100% silk panels. Circa 19th century.

These two gorgeous silk panels are bronze-colored, with red, green brown, orange, blue, yellow, black and off-white colored embroidery. The panels have a 2 5/8-inch border that has a geometric Chinese pattern in neutral-colored threads. The center of each panel has a scenic embroidered illustration of birds, trees, roosters and flowers. The panels are a pair; they are not identical. The backside of each panel is solid olive-bronze-colored silk. The panels are in excellent condition.
