set of six framed maps all from Mr. Tindal's Continuation of Mr. Rapin's History of England, printed in 1744.
These are original prints - not reproductions!
Engraved by James Basire (1723 - 1797), these historical maps represent the War of the Spanish Succession. All are in very fine condition, double folds, professionally framed with acid free mats and backing.
These measure approximately 16 inches by 22 inches (23 1/2 by 27 inches framed).
Included in the set are the following depictions:
    •    Battle of Wynedale, September 28, 1708
    •    Battle of Malplaquest, September 11, 1709
    •    Battle of Donawert, June 2, 1704
    •    Plan of the Siege of Tourney, July 7, 1709
    •    Plan of Encampment in Prats Del Rey, 1711
    •    Plan of the Lines of Brabaut, July 18, 1705
